They have a read range of up to 4 inches. The SR10RW has a read / write capability through the reader's RS232 interface. They are architecturally designed to mount on wood or metal door frames (mullion) and operate with consistent performance and reliability in a durable and scratch resistant polycarbonate housing, which allows for easy installation. Any OEM proprietary format is available. It supports 26 / 34 Wiegand as well as RS232 and ABA Track II (magstripe) formats. Full epoxy potting ensures successful operation even in harsh environments. It is vandal resistant and 100% weather proof and water proof.
